Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation: Committee concluded hearings on the nomination of Nancy E. McFadden, of California, to be General Counsel, and Charles A. Hunnicutt, of Georgia, to be an Assistant Secretary, both of the Department of Transportation, and Jane Bobbitt, of West Virginia, to be an Assistant Secretary of Commerce, after the nominees testified and answered questions in their own behalf. Ms. McFadden was introduced by Senator Mikulski, Mr. Hunnicutt was introduced by Senator Coverdell, and Ms. Bobbitt was introduced by Senators Byrd and Rockefeller, and Rep. Mollohan.
