“During today’s inaugural meeting, members broke out into discussion groups focused on four areas: 1) Macroeconomic Conditions and Regional and Infrastructure Issues; 2) Manufacturing, Services and International Trade; 3) Education, Immigration and Other Workforce Issues; and 4) Entrepreneurship, Intellectual Property, Commercialization, and Knowledge Markets. Each group identified the most critical issues and trends to consider as we move forward in drafting our report.
