Federal Reserve Board announces approval of application by Ameris Bancorp

The Federal Reserve Board on Friday announced its approval of an application under section 3 of the Bank Holding Company Act by Ameris Bancorp, Moultrie, Georgia, to acquire The Prosperity Banking Company, St. Augustine, Florida.
