Alexander Acosta will speak at a national day-long Department of Justice sponsored conference showcasing innovative strategies used by federal, state, and local agencies as well as community groups when providing language services to limited English proficient (LEP) individuals. Mr. Acosta will present a soon-to-be-published document, which will be distributed nationwide, describing tips and tools in providing LEP individuals language access. A new Department of Justice video regarding civil rights and language access will also be unveiled.
