The convictions handed down by a federal jury in New York today send a clear, unmistakable message that this Department will pursue both those who carry out acts of terrorism and those who assist them with their murderous goals. The Department thanks the jury for their hard work and careful examination of the evidence. I also commend the office of U.S. Attorney David N. Kelley and the many prosecutors, investigators and dedicated professionals who worked tirelessly to make sure that justice was served.” 05-059
