Gonzales will deliver remarks at the National Missing Children’s Day Awards Ceremony on FRIDAY, MAY 20, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. EDT. He will join other Department of Justice officials to honor law enforcement officers and citizens for their excellent work in helping to find missing children and to help prevent child sexual exploitation.

WHO: Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales Acting Assistant Attorney General Tracy Henke, Office of Justice Programs J. Robert Flores, Administrator, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Ernie Allen, President and CEO, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Robbie Callaway, Senior Vice President of Boys & Girls Club of America and Founding Member of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children WHAT: Attorney General will deliver remarks at National Missing Children’s Day Awards Ceremony.

National Missing Children’s Awards will be awarded to law enforcement from Philadelphia, Missouri and Oregon.

National Exploited Children’s Awards will be awarded to law enforcement from North Carolina, Oklahoma, New Jersey and Florida.

AMBER Alert Citizen Award will be awarded to a citizen from Arkansas.
