The United States stands in solidarity with the Norwegian people, and we offer our deepest condolences. These attacks are a sobering reminder that extremist threats continue to persist in our world, and we all must work together to defeat them wherever they arise. The United States will provide our full support to our Norwegian counterparts to help assist in the investigation of today's attacks and to prevent further harm."
