Statement by Press Secretary Marsha Catron on Deputy Secretary Mayorkas' Upcoming Trip to Louisiana

For Immediate Release DHS Press Office Contact: 202-282-8010 On Feb. 26, Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas will travel to New Orleans where he will lead an employee town hall to thank DHS personnel for their service and for responsibly implementing the Department’s various missions. Deputy Secretary Mayorkas will receive an update from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on the severe weather affecting the region. Also while in New Orleans, he will visit the Port of New Orleans for a hands-on briefing of passengers and cargo entering the port.
