PITTSBURGH, PA – On Monday, May 18, U.S. Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell will deliver the commencement address at the Chatham University 2015 Commencement Ceremony. Secretary Jewell will also receive an honorary degree during the ceremony.

Chatham University, a recognized leader in the field of sustainability, serves more than 2,100 students and is the alma mater of environmentalist Rachel Carson, author of the groundbreaking book Silent Spring. Last year, Chatham opened the world's first fully sustainable campus in higher education, the Eden Hall Campus.
