Newly Sworn-In Secretary Ryan Zinke to Address Employees on Interior’s 168th Birthday

On Friday, March 3, 2017, newly sworn-in U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke will deliver remarks to Department of the Interior employees in the Bison Bistro. The date also marks Interior’s 168th birthday.

Ryan Zinke (pronounced ZINK-ee) was confirmed and sworn-in as the 52nd Secretary of the Interior on March 1, 2017. The Senate voted 68-31 to confirm Zinke the morning of March 1, and he was sworn-in by Vice President Pence at a ceremony in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building later that evening.
