Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo met with Malaysia’s Senior Minister of International Trade and Industry, Y.B. Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali to discuss ways to deepen U.S.-Malaysia economic ties, including through President Biden’s vision for a new Indo-Pacific economic framework. They also committed to expand cooperation to ensure secure and reliable regional supply chains for high technology goods and discussed opportunities for greater investment in the United States and Malaysia.
