Senator Boxer to Speak at Press Event on Clean Water Infrastructure Funding

Washington, DC -- U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), chair of the Senate Environment Public Works Committee, will join representatives from key national organizations at a rally and press conference September 18 on reauthorization and expansion on the Clean Water State Revolving Fund..

PARTICIPANTS:

In addition to Senator Boxer, the rally will include representatives from the National Association of Clean water Agencies (NACWA) Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), American Rivers, and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), and the Water Environment Federation (WEF).

NOTE: On Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 10:00 AM ET, The EPW Subcommittee on Transportation Safety, Infrastructure Security, and Water Quality chaired by Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) will hold a hearing to examine the operation of the Clean Water Act State Revolving Loan Fund and recommendations for its reauthorization.
