Senators Boxer, Warner and Lieberman to Brief Press Prior to Start of Landmark Climate Change Debate

BACKGROUND: U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, will be joined by Senators John Warner (R-VA) and Joe Lieberman (ID-CT) to brief media prior to the start of debate on climate change. Debate on the Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act of 2008 (S. 3036 - the Boxer/Lieberman/Warner substitute) is expected to begin on the Senate floor Monday June 2.
