Senator Boxer Praises Award of Construction Contract for New Los Angeles Courthouse

Washington, D.C. -- Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Chairman of the Environment and Public Works Committee, issued a statement praising the awarding of a federal contract to design and build the new Los Angeles Courthouse.

Senator Boxer said: "I am so pleased with the award of this contract for the new courthouse in Los Angeles. This is a significant achievement for a project that will improve the safety, security, and efficiency of the court while creating much-needed construction jobs in Los Angeles."
