Senator Boxer Reacts to State Department’s Draft EIS for Keystone XL Pipeline

Washington, D.C. - Today, Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Chairman of the Environment and Public Works Committee, issued the following statement in response to the Obama Administration's release of the draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Keystone XL pipeline permit application.

Senator Boxer said: "I intend to closely review the draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Keystone XL pipeline. I continue to be very concerned about the contribution that the Keystone XL pipeline would make to dangerous climate change."
