Fischer: DRIVE Act will increase U.S. global competitiveness

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Sen. Deb Fischer (R-NE) spoke on the Senate floor yesterday in support of the Developing a Reliable and Innovative Vision for the Economy (DRIVE) Act, a six year highway bill that benefits Nebraskans and keeps our nation moving by making our transportation system safer and more efficient, while also increasing our global competitiveness. Senator Fischer is a member of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works which passed the bipartisan bill unanimously. The DRIVE Act is now being considered on the Senate floor.
