The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual responsible for an attempted bank robbery on Monday, February 7, 2022.
At approximately 3:37 p.m., an unknown male entered Bank of Albuquerque, 1301 Juan Tabo Boulevard NE. The suspect presented a note to the teller demanding money from the bank. The robber did not receive any money and left.
Suspect’s Description:
- Sex: Male
- Race: Hispanic
- Age: 18 to 25 years old
- Height: 5’5” to 5’6”
- Clothing: Gray and black jacket, light-colored shirt, dark beanie, dark gloves, blue jeans, and a light-colored surgical mask.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
