WASHINGTON, DC - Earlier today, House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI) urged members of the House of Representatives to pass H.R. 3350, the Keep Your Health Plan Act. The bipartisan legislation would allow plans currently available on the individual market to be offered next year. This would provide Americans the opportunity to enroll in these policies in 2014 without penalty. Upton added, “Tomorrow we will vote on the Keep Your Health Plan Act, a straightforward, one-page bill that says if you like your coverage, you ought to be able to keep it. Let’s keep that promise."
