WASHINGTON, DC - The House Energy and Commerce Committee today announced its hearing schedule for the week of June 23, 2014. The committee will continue its 21st Century Cures initiative with a roundtable to discuss digital health care opportunities and will convene a hearing to conduct oversight of the Medicare program.
On Tuesday, the Health Subcommittee will hold its second 21st Century Cures roundtable to discuss how to leverage technology and innovation to accelerate the #Path2Cures. An all-star lineup of experts will continue this important discussion in the 21st Century Cures initiative.
On Wednesday, the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will examine Medicare errors, fraud, and abuse. Members will hear from the HHS Office of Inspector General, the Government Accountability Office, and the Center for Program Integrity at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service.
