#RecordOfSuccess Continues to Grow As President Signs Three More Committee Bills

WASHINGTON, DC - House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI) today applauded the news that President Obama recently signed three bipartisan committee bills into law, adding to the committee’s bipartisan #RecordOfSuccess.

“Over the Thanksgiving holiday our committee’s bipartisan record of success grew stronger with three more bills becoming law," said Upton. “I’m proud that we have been able to cut through the partisan clutter and deliver real results to improve the public health as well as help create jobs and boost the overall economy for folks all across America. We look forward to continuing our efforts to make a difference in the 114th Congress."

President Obama recently signed the E-LABEL Act (S. 2583), the Sunscreen Innovation Act (S. 2141), and the Traumatic Brain Injury Reauthorization Act (S.2539). Also awaiting signature are the STELA Reauthorization Act of 2014 (H.R. 5728) and an Act to provide for the extension of the enforcement instruction on supervision requirements for outpatient therapeutic services in critical access and small rural hospitals through 2014 (H.R. 4067).
