WASHINGTON, DC - Although summer was in full swing in August, H.R. 6, the 21st Century Cures Act, continued to be a top priority for Members of Congress and advocates alike. From the 2,100+ mile #Ride4Gabe to advocates activated across the country for district meetings, there is no question this was, as Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI) called it, the “Summer of Cures." And while August may be coming to a close, energized advocates have set a springboard for action in September.
