WASHINGTON, DC - House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Greg Walden (R-OR) announced today the following changes to subcommittee leadership and several new subcommittee assignments:
* Rep. Gregg Harper (R-MS) to become Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.
* Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) to become Vice Chairman of the Subcommittee on Digital Commerce and Consumer Protection.
* Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) to join the Subcommittee on Digital Commerce and Consumer Protection, the Subcommittee on Energy, and the Subcommittee on Environment.
* Rep. Bob Latta (R-OH) to join the Subcommittee on Health.
“These changes will strengthen an already stellar group of members and help the committee add to our meaningful record of bipartisan wins. As we tackle some of the biggest challenges surrounding consumer protection, health care, energy infrastructure, and more, this committee is poised to truly make a positive difference for the American people.
