Energy and Commerce Ranking Member Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) released the following statement today after a series of gas pipeline explosions near Boston, Massachusetts yesterday:
“The tragic and frightening explosions in Massachusetts yesterday rightfully have everyone in the state concerned today. As the committee with jurisdiction over natural gas and the pipeline system that transports it, we need to understand what happened, why it happened, and ensure it never happens again. I hope to hear soon from Federal and State regulators, as well as any of the companies involved in this matter."
