WASHINGTON, DC - The Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, chaired by Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), announced a hearing for Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The hearing is entitled, “State of the Media Marketplace."
From radio and traditional over-the-air broadcast to online streaming, social media, podcasts, and more, American consumers have seen significant changes to traditional and digital media over the past few decades. Next week’s #SubCommTech hearing will examine the state of the media marketplace, and look at how innovation and consumer expectations are shaping the new media landscape.
