The House passed the following bills from the Energy and Commerce Committee:
* H.R. 2211 - STURDY Act: improves safety standards for freestanding clothing storage units such as a dressers, bureaus, or chests of drawers.
* H.R. 1618 - Nicholas and Zachary Burt Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Prevention Act of 2019: provides assistance to states to reduce carbon monoxide poisonings.
* H.R. 806 - Portable Fuel Container Safety Act of 2019: reduces fire danger posed by portable fuel containers.
