Energy and Commerce Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) announced that the Full Committee will hold a hearing on Tuesday, June 23, at 11 a.m. (EDT) in the John D. Dingell Room, 2123 Rayburn House Office Building, on the nation’s COVID-19 response with four key Trump Administration officials leading the response. The hearing is entitled, “Oversight of the Trump Administration’s Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic."
“There have been a lot of unfortunate missteps in the Trump Administration’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic," Pallone said. “This hearing will provide us an opportunity to hear from key Administration health officials about what is working, what still needs to be improved and what more Congress can do to help. As communities across the country ease social distancing guidance and reopen their economies, it is critically important that both the Administration and Congress remain focused on containing the spread of the coronavirus and providing the resources and support Americans need during this time of crisis."
