E&C Subcommittee Announces Additional Details for Hearing with COVID-19 Vaccine Manufacturers

Energy and Commerce Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee Chair Diana DeGette (D-CO) announced that next week’s fully remote Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee hearing with COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 10:30 a.m. EST. The hearing is entitled, “Pathway to Protection: Expanding Availability of COVID-19 Vaccines."

Last week, Pallone and DeGette announced the Subcommittee would hold a hearing with officials from five manufacturers producing and developing COVID-19 vaccines. Officials from AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Novavax, and Pfizer will testify at the hearing.

This hearing will take place remotely via Cisco Webex video conferencing. Members of the public may view the hearing via live webcast accessible on the Energy and Commerce Committee’s website. Please note the webcast will not be available until the hearing begins.
