Arizona Hosts Fifth Statewide Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Saturday, September 29th

WHAT: “STATEWIDE PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE-BACK EVENT" -

WHEN: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. -

WHERE: STATEWIDE-over 92 drop-off locations -

WHO: DEA and over 56 state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies -

DETAILS: - The Drug Enforcement (DEA) and its state, local and tribal law enforcement partners will give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

Collection sites will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public can find a nearby collection site by visiting www.dea.gov, clicking on the “Got Drugs?" - icon, and following the links to a database where they can enter their zip code.
