WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, today released the following statement on a memorandum of understanding (MOU) reached by the United States and Israel regarding military aid, which is expected to be signed this afternoon.
“This agreement sends an important signal about our long-term commitment to Israel," said Corker. “While it is ultimately up to Congress to decide the level of appropriation, I am very pleased the military aid package has been successfully completed."
