The Federal Aviation Administration announced that it is offering students and veterans 50 internship opportunities at various airports throughout the country.
As per the application posted on USA jobs, the main duties of the internship include data compilation, assisting with projects, and working on administrative tasks. The internship will provide hands-on experience with the aviation industry and present its interns with learning and development opportunities. The position may occasionally require travel for training. The intern will primarily deal with external contacts, though they may occasionally work in a public-facing capacity.
“The student trainee/intern in this position will be responsible for performing administrative support work in related to management analysis and support, program analysis, process evaluation, and administrative analysis," states the listening on USA Jobs.
The work is part-time and the pay ranges between $25,736 and $38,603 based on the locality of the particular airport an intern works for. Interns may be presented with the opportunity to join their teams full-time at the end of their terms.
