On Tuesday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m., the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce, chaired by Rep. John Kline (R-MN), will hold a hearing entitled “Education Regulations: Weighing the Burden on Schools and Students." The hearing will take place in room 2175 of the Rayburn House Office Building.

During the hearing, the Committee will examine the scope of federal education mandates, including data collection requirements and paperwork burdens, and analyze how compliance with these mandates creates unnecessary hurdles for K-12 schools, colleges and universities.
