Today, Education and Labor Committee Republican Leader Virginia Foxx (R-NC) released the following statement in response to the Senate passing the Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to nullify President Biden’s vaccine mandate for private employers and workers.
“Today is a victory for freedom and the rule of law. Despite knowing that he didn’t have the authority, President Biden is forcing private employers to be the vaccine and testing police for their own workers. It took the courts to check the powers of this administration in issuing this unprecedented and un-American national vaccine mandate.
“President Biden’s attempted power grab is just another example of how his administration wants to control every aspect of American life.
“We now demand that Speaker Pelosi schedule a House vote immediately on Rep. Fred Keller’s (R-PA) companion resolution, H.J. Res.65, so that Members of Congress can vote to protect the freedoms of American workers and the livelihoods of our nation’s job creators."
