Republican Roundtable: Children's Education

The following was published by the House Committee on Education and Labor on Jan. 18. It is reproduced in full below.

Join House Republicans Tuesday evening at 5:00 pm ET for a live roundtable conversation with guests about children’s education. Every student deserves to achieve their full potential. But three years of disrupted learning has exposed deep flaws in our education system: abrupt and seemingly endless school closures, the failures of remote learning, misspent federal emergency funds, lower academic standards, and curricula that ignore learning loss and essential knowledge. To fix these flaws, we need an education agenda that focuses on the needs of children, protects the rights of parents, and promotes equal opportunity and access to a quality education for every child in every community.
