Hearing to Focus on Rebuilding After Disasters

The following press release was published by the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure on Jan. 23, 2015. It is reproduced in full below.

The Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management Subcommittee, chaired by U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta (R-PA), will hold a hearing next week on saving taxpayer dollars by lessening the impacts of disasters and strategies for speeding disaster recoveries.

The hearing, entitled “Rebuilding after the Storm: Lessening Impacts and Speeding Recovery," is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
