Transportation and Infrastructure Chairman Bill Shuster (R-PA) announced that the Committee will hold its organizational meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015 in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building. At this meeting, the Committee will consider the committee rules package and oversight plan. Subcommittee assignments will also be announced at the organizational meeting.
“The Committee has a full agenda in the 114th Congress, including measures addressing surface transportation, aviation, passenger rail, pipeline safety, emergency management, water resources infrastructure, and maritime transportation programs," Shuster said. “I look forward to working with our new and returning members to shape policies that will help strengthen our infrastructure and ensure our nation’s competitiveness."
More information about the meeting, including rules and oversight plan adopted and live webcast, will be posted here as it becomes available. The full subcommittee rosters will be released following Tuesday’s organizational meeting.
