Committee to Consider Federal Real Estate Management Reform Bill This Week

The Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, chaired by U.S. Rep. Bill Shuster (R-PA), will mark up bipartisan legislation this week to save taxpayers billions of dollars by reforming management of federal office space and real estate, and to increase accountability and oversight of the agency responsible for securing and protecting thousands of federal buildings.

The Committee is scheduled to mark up the following items at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building:

H.R. 2322 - The Public Buildings Reform and Savings Act of 2015 | Additional information about H.R. 2322

H.R. 2131 - To designate the Federal building and United States courthouse located at 83 Meeting Street in Charleston, South Carolina, as the “J. Waties Waring Judicial Center"
