Washington - The Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials will hold a hearing next week to review the state of railroad, pipeline, and hazardous materials safety regulation and explore opportunities for reform to ensure America’s economic competitiveness in the 21st century.
This hearing of the Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials, chaired by U.S. Rep. Jeff Denham (R-CA), is entitled: “Building a 21st Century Infrastructure for America: The State of Railroad, Pipeline, and Hazardous Materials Safety Regulation and Opportunities for Reform." The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
The Subcommittee will hear testimony from:

* Mr. Donald J. Santa, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer, Interstate Natural Gas Association of America
* Mr. John Tolman, Vice President and National Legislative Representative, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen
