Washington, DC - Today, Chair of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Peter DeFazio (D-OR) and Chair of the Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management Dina Titus (D-NV) announced the subcommittee will hold a hearing titled, “Are FEMA’s Assistance Programs Adequately Designed to Assist Communities Before, During, and After Wildfire?" During this hearing, committee members will receive testimony from witnesses with expertise in emergency management, post-disaster recovery, and wildfire suppression.
Members will appear by videoconference or in person in 2167 Rayburn House Office Building.
