Chair DeFazio Announces Second Hearing in a Two-Part Series on Protecting the Nation’s Infrastructure Amid an Evolving Cybersecurity Landscape

Washington, DC - Today, Chair of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Peter DeFazio (D-OR) announced that the committee will hold a hearing titled, “The Evolving Cybersecurity Landscape: Federal Perspectives on Securing the Nation's Infrastructure."

This hearing is the second of two full committee hearings on the cybersecurity of the nation’s infrastructure. It will feature witnesses from federal agencies and will focus on the actions the federal government is taking to address gaps in the cyber preparedness of the transportation and infrastructure sectors, as well as the challenges federal agencies face in securing their own information technology assets.
