MILWAUKEE ? James C. Modzelewski, Special Agent in Charge of the St. Paul Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Edward A. Flynn, chief of the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) and David Ford, president and general manager of Clear Channel Outdoor today announced a Tip Line and Billboard Campaign to encourage the citizens of Milwaukee to report firearm-related crimes.

Milwaukee-area citizens can call 1-800-ATF-GUNS (1-800-283-4867), 24/7, to report gun crime, and can remain anonymous when providing information. Depending on the level of assistance, citizens may be eligible for monetary awards if the information leads to a successful prosecution.

Clear Channel Outdoor has generously donated electronic billboard space throughout the Milwaukee metro area to advertise the ATF Tip Line.

The campaign's goal is to increase citizen involvement in making communities safer and remind the public that it can report gun crime anonymously.
