Corey Jesse Adkins, 46, of Sheridan, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson on Jan. 27, 2017, for conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine and for possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Adkins was arrested in Camp Verde, Arizona. He received 180 months of imprisonment, to be followed by five years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $200.00 special assessment and $500.00 in restitution. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
