SENATE ENERGY COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE FOR WEEK OF JUNE 16

Washington, D.C. - The Subcommittee on Public Lands & Forests will hold a hearing on Thursday, June 19, at 2:30 p.m. in Room SD-366. The purpose of this hearing is to gain an understanding of the grazing programs of the Bureau of Land Management and the Forest Service. The subcommittee will receive testimony on grazing permit renewal, BLM’s potential changes to grazing regulations, range monitoring, drought and other grazing issues. This hearing will also provide the basis for other grazing hearings that may be undertaken at the subcommittee level throughout the year. The invited witnesses are: Mark Rey
