NATIONAL PARKS HEARING RESCHEDULED FOR SEPT. 9

The National Parks Subcommittee hearing previously slated for Tuesday, July 29 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 9, at 2:30 p.m. in SD-366. The purpose of this hearing is to receive testimony on the following bills:

S. 808, a bill to provide for the expansion of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. S. 1107, a bill to enhance the recreational fee demonstration program for the National Park Service. H.R. 620, a bill to authorize the Secretary of the Interior to provide supplemental funding and other services necessary to assist the State of California or local educational agencies in California in providing educational services for students attending schools located within Yosemite National Park.
