Senate HELP Committee to review 340B Drug Pricing Program’s impact on patients

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee is scheduled to hold a hearing on October 23 to review the 340B Drug Pricing Program and its effects on patients. The session, titled "The 340B Program: Examining Its Growth and Impact on Patients," will take place at 10:00 AM ET at the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C.

The committee has been looking into the program since 2023, focusing on how organizations use 340B revenue to assist low-income patients. The hearing aims to evaluate the expansion of the program and its direct impact on patient care.

The event will be available for live viewing online. Members of the press who wish to attend in person are asked to RSVP through their respective press galleries.
