U.S. Marshals Arrest Kansas City, KS Homicide Suspect

Kansas City, KS - Eddie D. White, 36, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task force on May 28, 2019. White is a Kansas City resident wanted by the Kansas City Police Department (KSKPD) for 2nd Degree Murder.

On May 26, 2019, it is alleged White shot the victim following an altercation in the 3000 block of Parkwood Blvd. At the request of the KCKPD homicide unit, USMS task force members were deployed in order to locate and arrest White.

On May 28, following an exhaustive search, USMS task force members located White in Kansas City, MO. White was arrested and confined pending extradition proceedings. USMS deputies worked with KCKPD homicide detectives to ensure evidence preservation and prosecution.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force (Kansas City Division) is a multi-jurisdictional fugitive task force comprised of the United States Marshals Service, Kansas City Police Department, Kansas Department of Corrections, Overland Park Police Department, Wyandotte County Sheriff, Drug Enforcement Administration, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
