San Antonio, TX - Jataevius Frank Williams, alleged murder suspect, was arrested today by members of the U.S. Marshals Service Metropolitan Fugitive Task Force (MFTF) in St. Louis, MO.

Williams, 19, was wanted by the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) after a warrant was issued for his arrest earlier this month. Williams allegedly shot and killed a male victim in the 4900 block of Woodstone Drive and fled the scene before police arrived. SAPD contacted the U.S. Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) to assist in locating and apprehending Williams. Task force officers quickly determined that Williams fled to St. Louis, MO and contacted the MFTF to execute the arrest.

Through investigative efforts and extensive surveillance, task force officers located Williams at a house in the 10000 block of Ross Circle. Williams was arrested without incident and is currently being held in custody at the St. Louis City Justice Center awaiting extradition to San Antonio.

“Each agency played an intricate role during this investigation," said Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal John Allen. “Task force officers both in San Antonio and St. Louis worked diligently to ensure Williams’ arrest."
