Local Fugitive Johnathan Jennings Arrested by U.S. Marshals Task Force in South Carolina

Martinsburg, WV - On September 4, 2019 the U.S. Marshals Service Mountain State Fugitive Task Force requested the public’s assistance in locating Johnathan Jennings, 24, of Martinsburg, WV. Jennings was wanted out of Berkeley County on the charge of escape.

On March 25, 2019, Johnathan Jennings was placed on bond with home confinement for 1st Degree Robbery. On April 18, 2019, Jennings cut off his GPS monitoring bracelet and fled.

The public responded to the call for assistance and provided tips as to his whereabouts. The U.S. Marshals Service was able to follow up on the tips and develop information on his location. On Sept. 25, 2019 members of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force in South Carolina acted on the information and located Johnathan Jennings in the 1000 block of Sons Ln, Graniteville. Jennings was arrested without incident. Jennings will be extradited back to West Virginia to face his criminal charges.
