WASHINGTON, DC - House Oversight and Government Reform Republicans today released “To America’s Holiday Heroes," a video tribute to the men and women of our armed forces spending the holiday season in harm’s way.

Oversight Chairman-elect Darrell Issa (R-CA), whose district includes U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, issued the following statement accompanying the video release:
“Since Washington crossed the Delaware in 1776, American war-fighters have celebrated Christmas in perilous places so that we may enjoy the holidays in peace and freedom. To our servicemen and women spending the holidays away from their families: thank you and merry Christmas."
