Memphis, TN - The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force is assisting local authorities with the recapture of escaped prisoner Samuel Bridges.
On Tuesday afternoon Bridges stole a 2013 White Ford E350 Tags TN 7894-GB. He left the prisoner worksite he had been at and struck a county employee as he made his escape. He was being held at the Shelby County Department of Corrections.
The fugitive is known to be dangerous. Citizens should not approach or attempt to apprehend. Any information on the fugitive please alert local authorities or call 731 571 0280.
The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force with divisions in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. The Western Tennessee Division of the GCRFTF has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies, Memphis Police Officers, Madison County Sheriff’s Deputies, Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies, Jackson Police Officers, BATF, and the Tennessee Department of Corrections Special Agents. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and sexual predators.
