U.S. Marshals Arrest Wanted Sexual Assault Fugitive

Martinsburg, WV - The U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force arrested Jerry Lee Vickers, 72, of Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Vickers was investigated by the West Virginia State Police on sexual assault charges involving a minor. The investigation resulted in a warrant being issued charging Jerry Vickers with 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a minor.

The Marshals Fugitive task force was asked to assist with locating and arresting Vickers. The Task Force located Vickers living on the 600 block of Faulkner Ave in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Vickers was arrested in the early morning hours of May 8, 2020.

Vickers was processed on his local charges and remanded to the Eastern Regional Jail with a $200,000 bond. A photo of Vickers can be obtained on the Eastern Regional Jail’s Website.
